4/1/23- gymnastics and soccer with the kiddos, started coaching my son in wrestling a bit too. He is itching to roll (so am i, and come from a wrestling background. Hurt my hand hammer fisting the steering wheel like a jackass so i put off my pressing but got in some snatching.

4/2/23- kicked it off with a 12 mile bike ride then a day full of walking back and forth to church and helping with the egg hunt setup/teardown.
Pressing in the afternoon (hand feels better):

Testing the waters of an ROP ladder progression with the 32k. I will not be surprised if I burn out or plateau. I want to press that damn 40k with my left though!
4/3/23- Packing up and heading out to starved rock for spring break! Will mostly be at the water park but will get some trail runs in for sure.

4/3/23 continued- i hit up the waterpark with the kids and got tons of stairs in doing the water slides repeatedly
4/4/23- family hike at starved rock. 4 miles with whole fam damily including my father in law. Was a lot of fun and was proud of the kiddos. We drove over and then decided to ditch the car and walk back to the resort. I ran 4 miles back on the trails to get the car later.
Apparently someone was terribly injured out there today @offwidth, sounded like climbers but not sure.
4/8/23
Gymnastics, wrastling with the boy and stretching/mobility.
Watching the neighborhood kids and mine Playing outside and got a good session in on the patio.

4/11/23:
Some walking, some playground exercise with the kiddos on bars and rings, were all working on pullovers. Did some chasing and fleeing with tag as well. We finished it off with some jumping rope.
4/12/23:
3(1,2,3) CnP @32k first thing. More to come.
5/12/23 continued:
taught PE classes, played on the playground a bit, good amount of walking. Walked the 20k around with the dog too.
5x10 2hs @40k at lunch
10x5 1hs @40k after dinner
These were tough, mostly on the grip and control part f the bell. The 2hs feel amazing though. My goal is to start working with the 40k more overall to get more comfortable with it and finally get it up on that left side.
Today’s practice: 4/14/23
Walked the 32k to work (3blocks)
Mid day hindu squats, jefferson curls, mobility and stretching.
Afternoon session was 4 flights of stairs with the 32k to get to my gym.
Followed by:
4 (1,2,3) CnP @32k
Did this in a bit of a rush and got all of the ladders done in 30 minutes. pretty good.
Wanted to get swings in or something but I didn’t.
4/15/23:
3 mile fun to coaching my son’s soccer game while girls go to gymnastics.
3 mile run home.
Back to soccer later, playing with the kids/dog doing easy hill runs. GTG pull-ups at the playground and into the evening at home.
4/18/23-
About 11 miles of bike commuting. Took out my road bike and went hard the whole time (was running late both ways). So it was actually a decent workout.
