I have never snatched the 32k much at all. Was at work with only my 32k and gave it a whirl. The last set of three was tough but the chain felt good.

Walked my bell home (3-4 blocks).

Walked the 32k to work (3-4 blocks, 3 flights of stairs)

5(1, 2) CnP @32k. Was doing more reps less set previously but want to transition to a more traditional ROP progression and schedule.

Day full of coaching soccer and running errands. Wife is running a race on the west coast and I am left to dad duty for a few days.

Woke up and headed outside to a beautiful day with the kids. Went for a 1.5 mile warm up run with the dog and juds on bikes. Followed by:
4(1,2,3,4), 1(1,2,3) CnP @32k. The ladders of 4 were tough, did this on compressed time, hour total.
Ran some errands around town with the kids on the trail-a-bike later in the day too (3-4 miles?) its fun and adds reaistance!

Mobility/stretching

Speed ladder drills and jumping rope
Been meaning to put together a speed ladder for a while. Some of my students are getting into running and sports so i made a tape one on the gym floor. I had fun doing these, nice to learn a new “skill” or sequence. Makes the brain work.

Soccer all day with the kiddos and running errands. Not sure if I’ll get anything else in, will update if i do.
 
Today’s practice: 5/14/23
Ran a few miles back and forth to church with the kids on their bikes. They are becoming pretty good city riders.

Pretty long and drawn out session, did some chores and dinner prep between sets. Was tough. I think I'm going to make this upcoming week a deload week. I have a trail half marathon over the weekend and want to at least be fresh since I will again be undertrained. I think ill redo this week when i come back.

Some hardcore chasing and fleeing on the playground. Playground exercise can be really fun. The kids are getting too into chasing me and I can’t get my pull ups and or bw rows in, lol.
Later on got in a good jump rope session and worked in some NS burpees with a jump to rings, to a pull up.

Today’s practice: 5/16/23

Locomotor skills practice, More chasing and fleeing at the playground (less hardcore). Some more gtg pull ups and jumping rope.

I have a half marathon (trail) this weekend that i did not put specific training in for so I’m trying to really take it easy this week and making it a deload week for rop while I'm at it. I did this race last year and took third (small race). It was very fun, first half is mostly crushed limestone with some trails mixed in. Second half is straight deer trails, creek crossings and even a wee bit of scrambling. Looking forward to it!

Soccer practices and running all over the city for my daughter bday celebrations. We turned this beautiful set of stairs i to our own little parkour gym.

Sunday 5/21/23
1/2 marathon trail race. Nice single track with tons of roots and downed trees, very technical. Ended up finishing in around 2:10. Not terrible for the lack of training.
