I gave up sugar for lent this year. By sugar I mean candy and stuff.

This season I am fasting from indifference. I stop to pray over news stories or other tragedies I see, read about, or hear about, rather than scrolling past and trying to forget about it. It is going well so far. In a more sorrowful mood overall - there is a lot of suffering and brokenness in the world.
