Excellent excellent excellent session! Made big progress with the snatch drop. Instead of trying to lower it slowly and with control, I let it drop full speed ahead and tried “outrunning” the implement with my hand/arm. When I did this while keeping my grip dynamic (big power when needed, relaxation when the bell needed to rotate) then the bell landed softly in my hand under perfect reflexive control. #Winning!

Very good my man!

Good session. Chasing the bell down seems to result in a more powerful snatch, which makes sense if it actually speeds the movement up. Satisfying session.

This is a good cue. I’m going to remember it.

Walk
10:33 AM, 00:47:21
3 rounds Goblet Squats, Push-ups, Downward Dogs

Training @ 04:03 PM

Running
00:33:09, 2.45 mi, 13:33 min/mi, 140 bpm hr avg, 150 bpm hr max

Between the wind and my runny nose I couldn’t keep MAF to save my life. I walked about 3 minutes of this in 2 or 3 chunks. I’m surprised I hit the 13:33 min/mi average pace as the wind was kicking my a#@.

I'm guessing the 2nd half was downwind looking at the HR track? Either way, those sessions do something good for us I believe, even if it doesn't feel that way at the time.

Good session. Right up until my last warm-up set I was going to skip training. I was still feeling the running yesterday. But finally the switch flipped, my balls descended, and I got s*** done. Trying to outrun the bell is working very well and contributes to making every rep as hardstyle as possible. Hands held up nicely.

Good looking 32k HR chart for me.

It's a great pattern Matt!
I almost never get spikes like that. Your pump is working well and I believe the cumulative effect of running coupled with breath work is a great combo that keeps paying dividends.

Awesome stuff dude!
