The mini-deload-to-reload week was exactly what I needed to restore enthusiasm with regards to training. That 1.5 - 2.0 week period of hating training was particularly interesting as all other aspects of my mindset were neutral or above average.

Snatching was excellent. Really great. Hips were snappy and smooth. Form is tightening up with every session. The improvements with how the movement feels internally are remarkable.

I forgot to note this yesterday, but my feet are feeling great even while running. Knee Zero Program for the win! It’s helped a lot, and I am still doing the "easy" regressions for several of the movements. Progression with the movements in the Zero program has been annoyingly slow, but has had quick and outsized impacts on running and snatching.

- A few days with knee program zero
- Buteyko, a little extra
- Walking, a little extra
- Sun, a lot
- Food and wine, a little extra

Feeling great after the deload and the fasting. Really great, terrific. I was feeling chillll as f*** after my 48 hour water fast, absolutely zero killer instinct. You gotta approach a hardstyle snatch with violent intent, so I decided to just roll with the chillll and extended the deload to 11 days. Also focusing more on Doing and less on data, so I've been disinclined to log every little thing.

Nice work Matt! I also get bored logging everything so just stick to the meat, side dishes are always happening though.
Deloading for real is a great idea, my body forces me into deloads now and then. It seems everything just cycles up and down so I just roll with it.
The pup is taking another energy gear to keep up with him, and sleep is interrupted by taking him out for pee breaks.. and it's not going to change for awhile. He's a fantastic little guy and worth all the effort, I need to stay ahead of him as he'll be YUGE and I don't want myself or Susan to be steamrolled by him as he'll gain an average 10 lbs a month. At 8 weeks he's already 16 lbs, his part wolf blood will likely add more size to him ??
I've been looking at the 32 again also, when the time is right I guess.. for now I have to be careful with the big life change, I don't need no steenkin unnecessary problems :cool:
