-great training session today. I am LOVING pull ups! Weighted pull ups have just such a good feel to them. Also, I bumped some of tomorrow’s work up to today since I might be too busy the next 2 days for training.

-10 snatches w/ 32kg, 70 w/ 24kg
-80 push ups
-Hands really need a break but I still did some light snatching today. After 6 days straight, tomorrow will definitely be off from snatching. My hands will be thankful.
A+A hill sprint repeats x6
-These felt great. Also began and ended with a short jog. I am loving all the power endurance work I have been doing.

-Going to stop free styling my programming and working out so much. I need structure so I am started the fighter pull up program and will start a new snatch program with 32kg on Monday. Really excited for this! Going to see measureable results!

-this was a lot on the hands. No blisters but my hands couldn’t have taken many more snatches. May have to separate snatches onto a different day since deadlifts and weighted pull ups are already tough on the hands. All lifts felt good though!

-Fantastic training session today! Snatches and deadlifts both felt excellent! I am doing my deadlifts Easy Strength style since i’m hitting snatches and pull ups hard.
-Looking forward to Friday’s snatch session. It’s going to be a different kind of session than I’m used to and will be fun! I also will be testing my press on either Friday or Saturday so that will be exciting!

-Didn’t sleep very well last night and then had a demanding morning session 30 minutes after waking. Not accustomed to early morning workouts so it was a bit rough but everything still felt solid after the first sets of snatches.
-First time doing 10r sets of snatches as part of a workout! Definitely need to warm up more thoroughly before doing these but they felt pretty good.
-4x8 of front squats was brutal!
-Have a great Friday!

Steep 5 mile hike this morning. Elevation gain of about 2500 ft in 2.5 miles. Lots of fun!

-Left side was not as strict as I hoped for the last press. Right was tough but strict enough to pass I think.

@The Nail This was at the top of King’s Mountain from Saturday’s hike and today I did Elk Mountain. Both are part of the Tillamook State Forest in Oregon. It’s breathtaking!

Snatch plan 044B week 1 day 2
32kg, 120 snatches
-I wanted to sample the medium day from this program. It was very challenging and the weight is definitely a bit too heavy for me at this point but I should be ready soon. I will probably do a modified version of the program for a while until I can break into the regular one. I also got a small blister on my palm but it was due to grip fatigue and overgripping the bell. Early sets felt great!
Bench press 155lb 4x8
Back squat 225lb 5x5
Curls 60lb 2x10
-No FPP today since my hands were a bit beat up from snatches. They will resume either tomorrow or Friday.
-Back squats felt REALLY good! I could feel that my upper hamstrings and adductors were working in ways they aren’t used to. Great training session!
