Mcp was below 40......
My 2nd session Initial CP 62s !! I am confused, but my first 60+ initial so.. Great ! i think food is a huge factor and intermittent fasting has positive effect on CP. Also ive been doing too many Quick sessions. Need more vlb :D
 
Today I slept for 3.5 hours. Feeling strong and well-rested. Full of energy.

* I skipped the warm up and felt the difference. Better to warm up for better swing. This practice bores me :)

* I must take note that having a CP of over 80s drastically improves recovery between sets, compared to my normal 45/55s. After my morning buteyko session, finishing with an AMP over 140s a deep calm feeling came over me, my breathing slowed down drastically, my senses sharpened. I went on with my S&S practice and realised my HR dropped down to normal much faster between sets than usual. (110-155bpm) Usually I need about 90 seconds after a set of swings, but today my HR dropped from the usual 153bpm to BELOW 110bpm at approximately 60s, and breathing remained EASY throughout the entire recharge.
4 factors;
- my warm up was shorter than usual, so this could mean smaller HR peaks after a set of swings
- i had an offday the day before, so i should be absolutely recovered
- perhaps my swings werent explosive like usual, even though (according to peaks in HR) it should be the usual
- my CP at that moment was much higher than usual. 120s AMP's bring me to 70/80s CP as a final CP but I had a massive AMP of 142s BEFORE my recharge, so it must've been 80/90s final cp.
Anyhow: I believe the 33% drop in recovery time, despite other factors, mainly is due to having a huge CP at that moment.

* Morning Cp 60s, first time my mcp was optimal. :)

** Tomorrow should be the last day of 10 hour shifts, after that we go back to normal.. I hope this will boom my progress. During the day I can feel how the muscles got worked by S&S. I feel it in my shoulders, lats, abdominals, obliques, legs, glutes. I'm sure my glutes are growing, my innerthigh is developing nicely, but the overall diameter of my legs is reducing. As for Buteyko.. an initial cp of 60s feels excellent, but a final cp of over 90s feels incredible. I really want to obtain a CP 120s over time. This will take a long time, no doubt. Overall I'm contend with the results of my progress, no rush.

I feel strong, healthy, energized, happy, indestructible.

* Technique feels like its improving. Taking cold showers after this now, feels good !

* Technique gets better on TGU, know my weakness. My grip needs a day off actually.

** My mcp is over 60s for the past 3 days in a row, however this morning I measured it at 79s.... I doubt such a jump could be accurate, but the second breath hold was near 80s aswell, but the third 69/70s. So I noted 74s, feels more accurate. My HR was lower than usual today, it would peak less after swings and drop back to normal very quickly. I take a cold shower twice a day, one after my S&S practice and one before bed. This increases CP too. Also I didn't drink caffeinefree coffee this morning thus my breathing session went smoother, felt more comfortable.

Offday - I used chalk yesterday and this really hurt the skin on my hands, so today I don't feel like swinging. I hate skipping a day for this reason, but knowing a day's rest will make me stronger.

I've been submitting myself more and more to cold, and I notice I don't really catch a cold, or at least not quickly like I used too. In fact I seem to adapt fast to cold, and later when I enter a warm environment the warmth is what feels unpleasant.

I try to be outside often, at work too. Short moments in the cold in a t-shirt, and keeping windows open at home alot for fresh air.
