072920 KBM W8D3: 5x5 DSW, DSN, SSP @ 16

Realized I wasn't putting in the sets and reps anymore...whoops. Light day is so wonderful. Really not looking forward to Friday.

073120 KBM W8D5: 4x5 FSQ, DSN, DMP, DC&PP, FSQ @ 16

Much better than last Friday. Got a bit of an ad hoc rest with a phone call from the wife in the midst of the last set.

Interesting day. I actually thought I was on set 4 but when I looked down at my Garmin I was on my last set! Love when that happens...just did the work, felt easy.

Edit to add:
I also added McGill's big 3 on the end of the session (I forgot in the session, so I did them about 10 minutes after I posted this). Harder than I expected!

Hoof, heavy day on Friday was brutal...got an ad hoc extra rest at rep 2 of the PP on the last set when my BIL arrived for a visit...quick rest to say hello and not hug since I was sweating like a pig. :) Not sure I would have been able to finish without that rest, actually, my shoulders were on FIRE.

Today's effort was nice...cut the rest by 30s and felt the burn for sure. I'm liking the addition of the big 3...though I may discontinue on the heavy day as I was pretty much worthless after the combination of work I did. Could barely type, and talking cogently was difficult. :)

Reduced rest by 30s (though my rest is still higher than called for as my cardio sucks).

Easy peasy...love light day!

Got really bad sleep last night, so I ended up taking an ad hoc rest in the last set as I was just blowing too hard, so that felt like a step back since I'd been able to do 3 sets pretty easily the last two weeks. But overall finished strong.

Monday and Wednesday were decent. Today was pretty good, got through 3.75 sets...had to put it down in the middle of push presses, so hard with my crap cardio. But feeling good, overall.

Good grief, finally done! What a journey! @GeoffNeupert what an amazing program you've developed! Noticed definite changes, and I'll probably write up a more full report on the main kettlebell board. There were multiple times I thought I would die, but I stuck it out and I'm SO glad I did. Thank you again for the amazing program!

083120 S&S: 1hs 10x10 @ 24; 1/2 TGU (to bottom of lunge) 10x1 @ 24; Windmills 8x1 (miscounted on the left side, and didn't want to go back) @ 24

Nice and easy for first day back on S&S. I need to figure out what my glitch is on the left side with doing the full TGU motion. Just can't seem to push off once I get to the bottom of the lunge.

090220 S&S: 2hs 10x10 @ 24; TGU 10x1 @ 24; McGill Big 3

Yes! It looks like my inability to push out of the lunge was just mental. Was able to do it today and no issues.

090420 S&S: 1hs 10x10@24; TGU 10x1 @ 24; McGill Big 3

Punching the clock. This is actually feeling really good. Wondering if I'll push for Timeless Simple before I move on to Strong! + One!

Took a nice break over the Labor Day weekend here in the states, so no session Monday.

090920 S&S: 8x10 1hs @ 24, 2x10 1hs @ 32; TGU 10x1 @ 24

The swings with the 24 have been feeling easy (probably due to all the double 16 swings and snatches I did on KBM), so I figured I'd add in some swings with the 32...felt pretty nice, might add back in some getups with it next week! :)

091120 S&S: 8x10 1hs @ 24, 2x10 1hs @ 32; TGU 10x1 @ 24
091420 S&S: 8x10 1hs @ 24, 2x10 1hs @32; TGU 10x1 @ 24
091620 S&S; 2x10 1hs @ 24, 6x10 2hs @24, 2x10 2hs @ 32; 10x1 TGU @ 24

Hah! Forgot I was planning to do 2hs today, so started off with 1hs, then switched for sets 3 and beyond. TGUs are feeling good, been adding in the 32 as a "finisher" after the sets with the 24 and it's floating up nicely. Will keep adding in a new step (today did 10s hold up and down at floor and roll to elbow on each side).

091820 S&S: 8x10 1hs @ 24, 2x10 1hs @ 32; 10x1 TGU @ 24
Finisher: 2x1 10s hold at floor press/elbow/floor press @ 32

Been forgetting to mention my finisher, which is how I work in the heavier weights on the TGU.

092120 S&S: 6x10 1hs @ 24, 4x10 1hs @ 32; 10x1 TGU @ 24
Finisher: 10s hold at floor/elbow/tall sit/elbow/floor @ 32

092320 S&S: 6x10 2hs @24, 4x10 2hs @ 32; 10x1 TGU @ 24
Finisher 10s hold at floor/elbow/tall sit/elbow/floor @ 32

092520 S&S: 6x10 1hs @24 4x10 1hs @32; 10x1 TGU @24
Finisher: 10s hold a floor/elbow/tall sit/elbow/floor @ 32

This is my last (planned) day of S&S...going to miss it, but excited to start STRONG! + ONE! next week!
