10 MINUTES OF:
- 10 goblet squats (50 lbs KB)
- 5/5 halo’s (40 lbs KB)
- 10 hindu pushups
15 MINUTES OF:
- 1/1 TGU (50 lbs KB) with press (when standing) and 1 pull up
3 ROUNDS OF:
- 6 TGU sit-ups left
- 6 single leg traplift (KB in left hand)
- 6 TGU sit-ups right
- 6 single leg traplift (KB in right hand)
- 30 secs. rest
 
5 x 5 Squat

5 X 5 Overhead Press

3 x 5 Deadlift

Felt surprisingly strong on the deadlift, so after the working sets I did 2 x 315, 1 X 335,  1 x 355, and maxed at 1 x 365. New PR! Finally cracked the double-bodyweight deadlift.

Have to move the goalpost up to 450 now.

I am still stuck with 4mins something with a 16KG so far.
 
so today, woken up by false alarms twice, sleep trashed.

an extra day off might be good thang 

i am sure the mojo will be back, sometimes you just need an extra day off !!

Today: First day back after recovering from supraspinatus issue.

Front Pull, 110lbs x 5

One Arm Press, 150 lbs x 7

(lbs based on max cable ratings, resistance is dynamic)

No pain!

It's barbell DL on a 2-1/4" platform: 310 lb x 3, then x 2 with the other grip.  BW was 152 this morning, age is old but hoping to be older.

Warmups were on a 3" platform: 225 x 3, 275 x 1.

as a slow circuit

Hand Stand Pushup 5×2

one arm pushup, 5×2
assisted GHR, 5×3
Climbing bridges, 5×3
Jump squats, 5×5
 
Easy day today.

Pulled 5 deadlift singles at 70% of 1RM.

3 sets of 5 slow, L-position chinups to the chest.

 
 
Monday:

Double 24kg Swings x10
Double 20kg Snatches x5
Double 24kg Cleans x5
5 ROUNDS.
2’ MINUTES REST BETWEEN

 

Running Scott Iardella's SAP Revised Protocol for 4 weeks then jumping to some prep for 12 weeks to get ready for SFG in Philly
 
PM SWING DAY ( Gym)

Man Maker Swings 12mins- alternate 10 reps 2 handed swings  with recovery jogs on spot then repeat. ( 32kg)

Treadmill- 20 min light jog

Isometric stretching - Hips 2 reps, hams 2 reps, groin 2 reps.

 
 
P.S Forgot the Goblet Squats before the swings.

Goblet Squats 1 x 5 (24kg) warm up

Goblet Squats 2 x 3 ( 32kg)

Easing this drill in the mix on Swing days. :)

5 x 5 overhead press, 115lbs.

5 x 5 pullups
