Training On Lentils

12.4. 2016 variety
I have two bells, 24 and 32, so decided to try some double lifts.
After couple of cleans i tested the military press (mp, one clean then consecutive reps):
mp (24+32)x7
mp (32+24)x7
A note: This is strange to me because with single 32 bell I get 6 reps of mp for both sides.
Does anyone else experienced this also?
Finished with some easy front squats (fsq):
fsq (24+32)x5
fsq (32+24)x5

13.4. 2016 medium
5x(1,2) c&p 32 kg w/ rows
oasw, 12 min, 100 reps
A note: first time did 100 reps w/ 32 bell in S&S fashion, 10 x 10reps, with no problems and prescribed 70%-80% effort.
Started to swing 32 bell two weeks ago. Grip, especially of my left hand, improved significantly as did the power output of swings. ROP works.

16.4.2016 heavy
5x(1,2,3) c&p 32 kg w/ rows
oasw, 12 min, 100 reps
A note: Hoped to get 120 oasw, EMOM, but could not do it.

end of 3rd week

Sunday, supposed rest day. Could not resist to grab my old and dusty dumbbell, load it to 40 kg and press. Got two reps each side. Happy.

19.4. 2016 variety
1+1 GU w/ 32kg
1+1 GU w/ 40 kg dumbbell
A note: 32 kg GU felt like 24 kg GU a month ago, before starting ROP - and during last month I did exactly one 32kg GU.
So there is a carryover from heavy (for me) C&Ps to GUs.

21.4. 2016 variety
No training today. For a sake of variety, I drink beer instead.
Rest day tomorrow.

23.4. 2016 heavy
1x(1,2,3,4), 4x(1,2,3) c&p 32 kg
oasw, 6 min, 60 reps

end of 4th week
-all C&P ladders were really strong, two days of rest paid off
-4 weeks into ROP: shoulders, lats and traps are thicker, core is stronger

26.4. 2016 variety
rack carries 32 kg, 4x40m per side
double fsq 24/32x5, 32/24x5
double snatch 24/32x1, 32/24x1
A note: Double lifts are awesome.

30.4. 2016 heavy
2x(1,2,3,4), 3x(1,2,3) c&p 32 kg
2hsw, 6 min, 60 reps
A note: did 2h swings today, just for a change

end of 5th week
-without even trying my weight dropped by about 2 kg since starting ROP

3.5. 2016 variety
3x3 one-arm oush up (to a comode at height of my bellybutton)
3x3 pistols (to a base about 5 cm below my knee)
Long periods between sets.

A note: Inspired by recent article by Aleks Salkin about calisthenics
I decided to give them a try on variety days. Well, it was a revelation
in how weak I am. Gonna work on these from now on.
