Repeat Until Strong.

Can you say a bit more about the new course in Jan 2021? I saw it mentioned on your instagram. I do a lot of cold water therapy on my own, so I'm intrigued. I've really enjoyed GGP so far and have especially been helped with my knees (no pain).



Big project (the plan is so far over 50 parts - full year program) - simple daily habits, various topics: morning recharge, brathing, physical and mental resilience, voluntary discomfort, strength training, cold exposure, diet, fasting, mobility, movement, mindfulness... Stuff that I do on regular basis. Stay tuned - I will release more info plus lots of previews in the upcoming months.

I am very glad that the GGP is beneficial, that makes me happy.

I read Life of Lycurgus some years ago in Volume One of Plutarch's Lives. I was intrigued by the reference.

I just read it few days ago (again). Btw. many people do not know that my original education is philosophy and psychology.
 
Today's practice: Towards the Timed "Sinister"

  • One-arm swings: 48 kg-56 kg-56 kg-56 kg-56 kg; 10 sets of 10, 100 swings total.
  • Get-ups: 40 kg-40 kg-40 kg-40 kg-40 kg; 10 sets of 1, 10 get-ups total.
I did my heavy swings from Wednesday, and my usual light Friday's get-ups. I did the get-ups non-stop.

  • One-arm swings: 48 kg-56 kg-56 kg-56 kg-56 kg; 10 sets of 10, 100 swings total.
  • Get-ups: 40 kg-40 kg-40 kg-40 kg-40 kg; 10 sets of 1, 10 get-ups total.

Nonstop meaning strong side, switch stronger side, repeat until all sets complete??

  • One-arm swings: 48 kg-56 kg-56 kg-56 kg-56 kg; 10 sets of 10 (alternating left and right), 100 swings total.
  • Get-ups: 48 kg-48 kg-48 kg-48 kg-48 kg; 10 sets of 1 (alternating left and right), 10 get-ups total.

  • Get-ups: 40-40-40-40-40; 10 sets of 1, 10 get-ups total (sum of left and right)
I had to triple check if I grabbed really 40 kg - it felt like 32 kg. Good.
