Repeat Until Strong.

Today's practice: From Solid to Sinister - Tactical Periodization

- goblet squats
- 5x44kg, 5x56 kg, 5x44 kg
- 1-3 (low-high) one-arm swings - 10x44kg, 10x56 kg, 10x44 kg, 10x44 kg, OTM, always left, rest; right, rest. 80 swings total (sum of left and right).
- 1-3 (low-high) get-ups - 1x40 kg, 1x48 kg, 1x40 kg, 1x40 kg, always left+ right, rest, 8 get-ups total (sum of left and right).

56 kg makes the the 44 kg light as a toy. And that is the goal.

  • 2-2 (medium-medium) one-arm swings - 10x40 kg, 10x48 kg, 10x40 kg, 10x40 kg, 10x40 kg, OTM, always left, rest; right, rest; 100 swings total (sum of left and right).
  • 2-2 (medium -medium) get-ups - 1x36 kg, 1x44 kg, 1x36 kg, 1x36 kg, 1x36 kg, always left+ right, rest; 10 get-ups total (sum of left and right).

It’s unbelievable how strong your Get-ups are! I’m still striving for the 32kg - soon though...

I have a couple of random questions relating to your diet.

1) Are you still adhering to a Ketogenic diet?

2) How many eggs do you usually eat at your first meal? Silly thing to ask, I know...but just wondering!

ad 1) Low-carb/Paleo/Keto most of the time - not all the time.

ad 2) I don't always eat eggs as the first meal, but when I do, 3-4.
 
Thank you for the quick response! I’ve just wondered about how large your meals are, specifically the protein aspect. I just imagined enormous amounts of steak, etc!

I eat once or twice a day, and a lot, that is true - but just enough - and try to have variety of food, mainly meat and vegetables, occasionally potatoes, red potatoes, rice.

If you can’t even clean up your own room, who the hell are you to give advice to the world? My sense is that if you want to change the world, you start with yourself and work outward because you build your competence that way. I don’t know how you can go out and protest the structure of the entire economic system if you can’t keep your room organized.
