Repeat Until Strong.

Today's practice:

- prying goblet squat, 3x5, 24 kg
- one-arm swings, 10x10 - 36, 40, 36, 36, 36.
- get-ups, 5x1 - 32, 36, 32, 32, 32, 32.
- stretching

Note: When the old weight feels relatively light, the new weight doesn't feel heavy. There must be some research on this, I have to look it up.

- 1,5 hours MMA - mainly grappling
- 1,5 hours Practical Hung Kyun - mainly street oriented kicking

Dumbbell get-up from an old strongman's scrapbook, late 19th/early 20th century. SFG standard, isn't it?

Today's quote: Years ago, my friend Dr. Jim Wright said something that got burned into my brain: “Consistency and moderation over intensity.” Not nearly as sexy as “Do or die!” or some other juvenile T-shirt slogan, but you could not think of a better set of directions for durable performance. Note: The body adapts very well - I am not sore even a little bit. My left shoulder, which is more mobile, got more stable. My right shoulder, which is stiffer, got more mobile. Good.

Off to see the new Bond movie.

Awesome video!!! Especially the women doing pull-ups. If only we could make the pull-up every American woman's goal... we would be so much better oriented in our exercise efforts. Beautiful.

@Serge I am not a fan of the new Bond movies, but I enjoyed this one. Not the intro song, though - it is terrible. The movie is cool - more "Bond moments" and humor than in the previous Daniel Craig series.

@Stuart Elliott swings feel awesome, much faster progress than I have expected. Get-ups - enough strength, but the technique is not perfect (yet), so I take it slowly.

Today's quote: "If all of the above seems overwhelming and complicated, just follow the Enter the Kettlebell! Program Minimum [or the updated version of PM, S&S - note P.M.] with a heavy kettlebell, eventually 32-48kg. Yes, it is that simple".

When you read it, it might not make sense. When you do it, it makes sense perfectly.
