Forgive my ignorance, but I have a few questions about Rite of Passage.

1)As I understand it, ROP is designed to increase overhead pressing strength, using rep ladders. When one reaches 75 reps per side, one attempts to press a heavier Kettlebell. Apart from the Clean and Press, what other exercises should one be doing when training ROP? I'm not sure my shoulders would take doing ROP and Turkish Get Ups in the same workout, but Swings should be OK.

2)How many days per week should one run ROP?

Thank you in advance. This is a great forum for Noobs like myself. :)

ROP should be 3 times a week, light, medium and heavy. There are two variety days and two off days (mobility, active recovery). The 3 workouts have swings and snatches. Variety days talks about TGUs and other exercises.

I have just started the program as well, in the first week. Heavy day today..... Also, mixing in the pull-ups at the moment, might be too much later, could well swap for australian rows.

It's all in the book :)

Hello,

@NormanOsborn
On this page, you have the rep/set

Otherwise, you have swings and snacthes as part of the conditioning.

This is also possible to add weighted pull ups following the same frame than the C&P. This is not 'mandatory' though because then it makes the program very taxing (and the sessions very long).

Kind regards,

Pet'
