Hi everyone, apologies in advance as I'm sure this question has been asked before but I'm unable to find the answer on the forum.

I've recently started S&S. I started with 16kg to get the technique right. I do have some previous experience of using kettlebells. I do feel like I own this weight now certainly on the swings having been going for 2 weeks on the program.

My question is that in order to move to 24kg, should I stick with 16kg for 4 weeks and then follow the step progression as detailed in the book, or would it be ok to move to 24kg quicker and then follow the Simple program as described.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Start with a 4 week step load and see how easily dominated it is. If so, maybe it's time to move on.

If your sets and reps are pristine and your rest periods are nil. Yeah. Move up till you find that difficulty level where it's both challenging and doable.

If it's doable and not challenging then you'll know. It's too light too easy, and time to grab a heavier bell.
