Barbell S&T Press program for deadlifts

So I have entered a dead only meet in March and was thinking of using the S&T template for deadlifts and was wondering what your opinions of using this are. I have a max of 515lbs and have been thinking of reducing that number by 10% and using that number for my starting percentage. I'm 46, about 245lbs. The other days would be for GTG pull ups and moderate weight pressing for balance.

I am just doing swings until after the new year along with light presses and a few other light, basic movements. Thanks for any feedback you provide.
