Other/Mixed Safe exercise after 40 limited to 3-5 hours weekly

This cardiologist suggests limiting exercise for those over 40 to between 3 to 5 hours weekly. Comments?
My rule of thumb would be 3-5 times s&s, which may last around half an hour + around half an hour brisk walking or easy running after.
Would make up for 3-5 hours.

Another option would be s&s 3-5 times a week, and easy walk/ruck/run 3-5 times a week.

For s&s @aciampa a+a guidelines are the sound way to go.

Or one can do pttp, daily dose or else heavy (frequent) lifting, and have some more time for building up an aerobic base, which is the old man's unsexy secret weapon.
