Kettlebell Shoulder packing/one arm swings-insight

Still recovering a bit from deadlift session couple days ago so went lighter weight on A+A swings. Gave me more brain power left over to pay extra close attention to kinesthetics and form.

Realized that I tend to relax, maybe a bit too much, at the top of the float and lose the shoulder pack. I regroup on the way down but it is too little too late. Result is that the force from the bell accelerating through the arc as it drops, gets dissipated through my shoulder girdle and upper back.

Benefits of focusing on keeping tight at the top: 1) I can feel that acceleration force run in a wave down my torso, through my legs, and mash my feet into the ground 2) Better feed back on when to start the hinge and 3) a lot more loading of posterior chain in the back swing and so a snappier, more powerful swing coming out of the bottom.
