Subjective feelings: Difficulty 1-5: 3
Notes
: I decided to do one more day of two-hand swings since I've got a sore finger on my left hand.
Swings: These were awesome. Already feeling max power in the last rep with 24kg.
Getups: Not bad; not hard; not easy--not... bad :).

Notes: I hope the soreness in my left finger subsides by tomorrow. If not, I may try resting one more day. Have a great weekend!
 
Date: 07/20/2020 (Mon - Day 36) -- 24kg for sets 3 & 4, 16kg for all others

Warmup, Swings 10x5L & 10x5R, Getups 1x5L & 1x5R

Subjective feelings: Difficulty 1-5: 4
Notes
: My finger still hurts, and it really affected my swings with the 24kg.
Swings: Not bad considering. Still, a little tougher than before.
Getups: Felt easy! I was very happy with my getups.

Notes
: My finger STILL hurts. Come on!
Swings: Grip was feeling really weak on 24kg. My finger isn't helping.
Getups: Again, these felt really strong.

Notes
: I'm not even going to talk about my finger.
Swings: Felt a bit better with 2-handed swings; I may finish the week with 2-handed swings so my finger can recover more.
Getups: These were solid. I'm amazed at how this exercise went from the most difficult to the easiest for me. You could have never convinced me that was going to happen when I first started, lol. I just wonder if, one day, maybe the 24kg will feel as light as the 16kg? :)

Notes
: I guess I need to take some time off. I was hoping my finger would get better, but it's clear that's not going to happen. I'm going to rest until Monday and reassess then.
Swings: Finger was very painful with the 24kg swings; 16kg was tolerable.
Getups: These are great.
 
Date: 07/24/2020 (Fri - Day 40)

DAY OFF

Notes: I have no idea what I've done to hurt my finger. It's the middle finger of my left hand. It only hurts between the first and second knuckle. This is very frustrating. I plan on resting until Monday, but I have a feeling that it's not going to be better by then. If not then I may have to rest it even longer. I really hope that isn't necessary, but if it is, I guess I'll walk/jog for training next week.
 
Date: 07/27/2020 (Mon - Day 43)

Ran 2 miles.

NOTES: I guess I'll take this week off. My finger is finally getting better, but it's still sore. Perhaps a week of rest will do the trick. On a more encouraging note, I ran today. Wow, the swings must be conditioning me far more than I even realized! Good stuff.

: I decided to go ahead and do my getups even though I'm resting swings.
Getups: Felt great; the 24kg is finally starting to lean towards 'easy.'

Notes
: I am considering doing my swings with 20kg when I start them back. Perhaps 24kg was too big of a jump for my joints? Maybe, we'll see.
Getups: Another good workout.

Notes
: The finger feels better; I can tell it's not 100%, but it's getting there. I'm antsy to start my swings again!

Notes
: I've decided to go with 20kg for swings to see if I can prevent the pain in my finger from coming back. I will follow a 2-week step program with 20kg for swings, and continue my 4-week step program of 24kg for getups.
Swings: 10x10TH
Getups: 1x5L, 1x5R
