Having been taught that a bit knee forward is inevitable but should be avoided, this is going to take some dialing in though. I am a bit concerned the added zip appears to be simply due to shifting some load to the knee extensors from my posterior chain by adding another lever.

IMO this is not only OK, but actually a good thing. One could go too far in this direction, but I don't think you are.
 
Looks good to me and agree with Anna

Lockout - it looks like you have a "two step" lockout where the KB pulls your shoulder back (so the bicep is behind the ear) - especially with your neck situation you may want to finish so the arm is even with the ear or even ever so slightly in front of it
