I also do it several times, before each meals. In addition to the vaccum, I also perform the "ab roll" (when the ab wall goes from a side to another). This is very good for digestion.
You could also search "muscle control" it used to be quite common in old time strongman routines.
Frank Zane is probably the most famous proponent. There may be tutorials related to that search.
