Strength training for kayak racing. Advice please

Hey Anna… I’m curious why you say this?
Some of heart rate zones is dependent on the style of locomotion and seems to be related to how much of your body weight you’re having to support against gravity. Typically max HR for running > cycling > swimming.

Wonder where kayaking falls in?

I’m f max hr is different depending on sport I’d imagine that MAF zones are variable as well.

Yes of course. Slightly different for various sports.
