There used to be standards in order to be considered. I think it was at least a 2.5x bodyweight deadlift amongst other things.

Yes. In the past, we'd organize a meet date and then see who could come. I think the last Team PTTP meet I did was with Pavel T. and Brett Jones in Nevada a decade or so ago.
