Hello All,

Does anyone have measurements on StrongFirst bells? There don't seem to be any general guidelines of handle and window sizing in mm. Yes, the handles will change somewhat with weight, but brands differ in this regard.

Further, does anyone have any hard information about these bells? There are opinions, but there isn't much stated in the webstore about the bells. For example, where they are made, how they are made, materials used, measurements considered, types of e-coating, etc. I've read and I know others have at length about the details of fitness products. People in the fitness community often admire craftsmanship and feel proud to have a well made item in their homes.

We all know there has been a run on kettlebells due to the pandemic. Do people feel they have gotten value for their dollar with the SF Kettlebells? Please explain how and why beyond, "they feel good." Kettlebells USA had a big following pre-pandemic, but then they were covered in a NY Times article, so demand shot up and prices changed accordingly. SF has a good name and seems to be price effected by supply and demand as well, which is understandable. In saying that, can the community state the actual how and why these bells are good buys for the consumer. They may be great, but there is little hard(style) information. I'm sure the community is strong enough to address this topic reasonably. It's taking an interest in a product, company, and community we enjoy! Thank you!

Alexander, our official reply:

StrongFirst sells an exclusive product, never intended for the mass market.

True, you can get comparable quality kettlebells at lower prices—just as you can get cheaper cars with similar specs from mass market manufacturers.

When you are buying a StrongFirst kettlebell, you are paying a premium for the shield and what it stands for.

Hector Gutierrez did a few reviews on his FB page, he measures some of the classic sizes. EDIT: can't seem to be able to link them, just search on his FB page and you'll find the vids.
