Since I last posted I pulled a muscle in my left forearm, not really sure how. I decided to to take a week off to let it recover. I started back doing some easy strength sessions. Then last week added a few S+S sessions. I'm still easing my way back in so have decided to concentrate on S+S again and keep the bent press ( I love it too much to leave it out). I've also been doing some ease pace 1hr runs 2 or 3 times a week, I'll keep those.

This week:
Monday
Morning: OS, 1hr run easy pace
Afternoon:
Mace 360s 4x10,
Goblet Squats 3x5 32kg,
Bent press clusters 6 x 1 x 5 32kg
Total weight lifted = 1,840kg

Tuesday:
A+A snatches 15x5 (28kg easing back in)
Total weight lifted = 2,100kg

Wednesday :
Morning: OS
Afternoon:
Mace 360s 4x10,
Goblet Squats 3x5 32kg,
Bent press clusters 4 x 1 x 5 32kg
Total weight lifted = 1,520kg

Thursday:
A+A snatches 20x5 (28kg easing back in)
Total weight lifted = 2,800kg

Friday:
Morning: OS
Afternoon:
Mace 360s 4x10,
Goblet Squats 3x5 32kg
Bent press 32kg EMOM 32 x 1 (R+L)

Notes: EMOM btp feel really good.
No recovery issues so far.
Aiming to get a bar soon to sprinkle some low rep dead lifts.

Ive taken a slight change of tack with my training. I've been intrigued by kettlebell sport since training with KBs about 10 years ago, but the time and training commitments are too much for my work/family lifestyle at the moment so I've decided instead to follow the high rep format in @Physical Culture book Classic Kettlebel Lifting. Essentially I'm taking a break from A&A style lifts and trying lower weight high rep. I'll still focus on bent press clusters but will move this to the start of my practise.

I've really enjoyed the high rep work this week and its been very humbling having to use the single 16kg again. It's hard to judge the benefits after just a week, but I was able to comfortably BtP the 40kg for all cluster reps for the first time! Happy to see where high rep work takes me.
