Kettlebell Swings and the ROP

With all that is happening with long rests and power swings, is it still recommended to swing after presses in the ROP, making the swing a strength endurance move?
 
@rickyw, I think you'll find most programs have you do what's important in the program first, or at least first after warmups. This is to be sure you're fresh and that what's important gets your maximum attention. The ROP is a pressing program - you could switch it up, and it might actually work well, but it would be a different program. Truth be told, I've considered doing this myself but I've never tried it.

If you want to take an S&S approach to your swings, consider doing them in a separate session on pressing days with at least a half-hour rest between, preferably even longer.
