OK, here is the thing: I can't do TGU due to my old wrist injury, thus I do Tactical Get-up mentioned in the S&S 2.0 book. This week I completed 100 One-Arm Swings with 32kg, so it would mean that I achieved Timed Simple, but instead TGU I did the same amount of reps TacGU (I call that the Tactical Get-up).
I know not everyone can do TGU due many reasons and TacGU might be a solution for them.
Would you please assess the movement and is it possible to count that as Timed Simple achievement?

Stay Strong. Stay Hard. Get After It.

Not only do I have no issue with it, I'm quite positive that I couldn't do that movement. Thanks for posting it.

It's definitely a get up.
You start on the floor in a supine position, lift a weight, and end stood up.
The bell hasn't travelled as far but that distance is only the equivalent of the initial floor press, which I assume you can't do due to your wrist.
For what it's worth, I have yet to receive a Timed Simple certificate through the post... ?
If you're using Timed Simple as a mile post to move onwards, then I'd say crack on...

PS I hope you can regain you wrist functionality.

Personally I would count that as a Timed Simple Variation achievement.
The TUT of the TacGU is significantly lower than the TUT of the Std GU.
Maybe also the Sandbag Get-up would be an interesting option for you.

Keep up the good work!
