Has anyone got a link to a video/article showing the tactical snatch. I’ve seen a D Whitley video that has the drop at the top but want to practise the other version where the switch comes out of the hip snap and is performed at chest height
Cheers

What's the reward for the increased risk?
I can think of two rewards:
a. De-emphasize high pulls which is a worthy goal for those who learned the snatch as a progression from high pulls.
b. Practice switching hands during snatch tests.

Reduces subjective risk. Objective risk remains.
I don't even know what that means. If you are skilled at switching hands in that manner it will reduce risk.

Again, I won't be using the technique as I imagine it would only save 1 or 2 seconds per hand switch.
