Well if those hunter gatherers lived on a game farm and never had to go more than 100 yards to hunt their livestock game and were able to spend all day leisurely wasting energy working out… maybe they might come a bit closer to that physique.

But then again hunter gatherers do tend to eat a healthy amount of plants too…

Side note, did you know that when the Inuit tribes started adopting a SAD diet, their life expectancy jumped by like 20 years?
According to Westin Price that isn’t true at all. The Inuit along with all the other primitive tribes saw a major decline in health when they started eating a western diet full of processed sugars and grains. Almost every tribe he studied all over the world saw the same thing. Not only did their health suffer but their dental health plummeted as well. Now this is according to research he gathered in the 1930s when you could still compare people from the tribes that were still eating a native diet as well as those who were converted. The Inuit were the more extreme of the tribes but others like the Māori in New Zealand were said to be some of the healthiest indigenous tribes found, strong and lived just as long as we do today but with less health issues. As soon as they started eating SAD diet they suffered.
