Goblet Squats 3 x 5 x 20 kg

1HS 8 x 10 x 20 kg, 2 x 10 x 16 kg
TGU 4 x 10 x 20 kg, 1 x 1/1 x 16 kg

No mobility work today, just went straight into it. All went well, I was moving around all day, and had nothing to really loosen up today. I think a couple more sessions like this before I go all in on the 20 kg sounds about right.

Where did the month go? October already, wow. I had to work late today, and of course traffic sucked on the way home. I barely had the time to get this in before rugby practice this evening. Some work is better than none though, and this is an enjoyable session for me all the time.

Mobility Work

Preparations have begun for family to come into town for my son's wedding this weekend. Staying 2 hours late at work, along with some cleaning that needed to be done, left me just enough time to get some stretching and mobility work in before bed time. I should be able to get some work in over the next few days, but who knows. I may have some rest time coming my way.

Lots of mobility work today, then all in with the 20 kg. Everything felt good and solid. With my focus on recovery, and all the rest days, I felt that this was the recipe for tonight.

I had a little DOMS today, nothing severe, but a day of pressing and rowing sounded real good. The Single Leg DLs are getting more solid and stable, so things are working well all around.

Not much time to get this session in this evening. So, I warmed up and did some light stretching before starting. All went well, but it feels better when I get my mobility work done first.

Simple session this morning, still good work. This routine is still challenging enough that more sets or repetitions are not necessary, yet.

Mobility Work

Ran errands this morning, returned the kegs from the wedding and apparently tweaked something in my lower back. Nothing serious, but there is a nagging ache in there. I did my stretching routine, and it just didn't loosen up. So, I ended my session there. Hopefully a good night's sleep and some walking tomorrow will loosen it up.

Apparently I just needed a day of rest and stretching, followed by my normal routine. Thank you @offwidth for that recommendation, I would have been following that advice had my back not loosened up. I felt better, actually after this routine than I did when I began my mobility work.

Focused my mobility work on making sure my back & hamstrings were loose before starting tonight. Everything went well, almost felt light tonight. A few more sessions and I will be checking to see if I can get my swings done inside of 5 minutes & get-ups in less than 10.

Just had enough time to get this in last night. I haven't made the time to do all of my mobility work, and I have been feeling it. Even though tomorrow is a scheduled day off, I will more than likely do some mobility work, just to get back to normal.

Better session today. The extra mobility work seemed to make a difference. I still was focused on recovery today, more than challenging myself. That will come around no later than this weekend.
