@Frank_IT Using a variation of the "grease the groove" strategy here so once you get used to the overall volume you can get in a tremendous amount of work especially with bodyweight only training.

When I first attempted this volume I did 1000 in a month or an average of 33 per day, nothing crazy but yields very good results over time.
 
@mikhael I will cycle my push-up volume to compliment my kettlebell training. 2000 this month and then down to 1500 in November as I plan to increase my military press frequency. All of this is to support my goal of completing SFG II in 2017.
