Is anyone planning to compete in the next TSC using Simple and Sinister as their basic template and, if so, how are you handling your overall training to ensure preparation for the Deadlift, Pullups, and Snatch?
@Steve Freides For a while I was using S&S Protocol a couple of days a week along with other training specifically for the TSC.
I noticed increased snatch capability with the heavy swings, get-ups were forcing more lat activation for the pull - ups, however as I began moving into the training for the TSC I was also approaching my sinister goal at 48kg and the training just became too much, so for right now as the priority is the TSC I am still occasionally working the heavy swings in with the rest of my TSC Training.
