After my last post a couple weeks ago, I told I had been lazy and no training for 6 weeks. Well I hit my 24kg bell and went back to work on s&s (using two hand swings, still haven't had time to get trained on single hand swings). I have had some great sessions for the last w weeks.
I Had some free time this afternoon and wanted to push myself. So I got my 36kg bell out, for the first time in 3 months, and did a practice session. Wow, that thing is a monster. I'm so glad I have read up on bracing. The 100 swings, in sets of 10, was ruff. But the 10 getups, WOW. It realy drove bracing home for me. It took an hour, but I wanted to be fresh for the next set. I can only imagine the vice grips for hands to be able to pull off swinging this monster single handed.
Cannot wait to get to using it on a regular bases!

Great story!

You'll always hear, HEAVY weight is instructional! You can't "cheat" your technique with a heavy weight. It will force you to use the correct bracing and technique!
