YTI - a new one on me.

Which do you think is better for the lower trap muscle?

If you’re looking to isolate just the lower trap, than the Y and I exercises are the most commonly prescribed but hardly the best. Chin up do get the low traps but not best at isolating them.

Look up ‘low trap ift off’ to find my favorite one.

Hi there @JamesPTA , would you be able to link a good video of the exercise? I'd be very interested in trying it. Thanks.

Bear in mind that this is strictly a rehab type exercise for isolating the lower trap. Can also be performed alternating arms

Thanks @JamesPTA , I was given Y's to do by my physio a while back after a rotator cuff tendonitis. Even though they seemed to work for my rehab purposes I still felt like I needed more to get my low traps working more. The increased range on these might help. I'll give them a shot.
