profilephoto01-0011G00000hx0p5QAAI commenced training with David and Natalia at StrengthLab Bristol in 2017. During what was one of the most tumultuous and challenging periods of my life, professionally and personally, I came to see that the strength I developed with their guidance carried over into every aspect of my life.

I'd go so far as to say that I grew the strength to clear out all the destructive influences and tendencies and build new, better ones, thanks to the example they set me, and I set myself, in their school of strength. I felt, and continue to feel, ready for anything, thanks to this method of training.

The opportunity to gain my SFG certification and work with David and Nat in the Lab came up in the summer of 2019 and I leapt at the chance. I love the hard style discipline, commitment to quality, functionality and versatility, and the way it can improve virtually anyone as an athlete. I have dived into serious endurance events with limited preparation off the back of the general condition I have achieved, and maintained, through my own kettlebells practice. I am living proof of the method as the most efficient cross-training out there which makes me very enthusiastic about prescribing it to others! I have ridden, rowed, triathloned and cycled competitively so am passionate about being functionally fit, not just 'gym fit'. I love serious athletes as much as folks who just want to be able to get off the floor on their own and age well.

You can find me in the Strength Lab from Jan 2020, and I'll be the one with the growing baby bump next year. Looking forward to sharing a strong and healthy pregnancy and perhaps kick starting our own Mums Gone Strong classes...
