profilephoto01-0013700000QRbN0AALI got started working out when my brother forced me off World of Warcraft and made me run three miles with him. What started as a love-hate relationship with exercise, quickly escalated to an academic interest after suffering some overuse injuries in high school cross country. It was during this time that I started to take a personal interest in human anatomy and physiology in order to learn how to fix the body that had betrayed me.

Four years later, after graduating high school, I earned multiple certifications in personal training with a post-rehab intent in mind and went off to college to get my doctorate in physical therapy. Fast forward another four years, I decided that in order to help people the best, I needed to learn how to be of the best help to people. Sounds redundant, huh? But, before dumping tens of thousands of dollars into grad school, I wanted to spend more time “in the trenches,” working with real individuals to get them real, lasting, and significant results.

What I’ve found, is that personal training, coaching, or whatever you want to call it, is less about telling people what to do and more about being empathetic to the unique obstacles each individual faces on their journey to becoming stronger and better versions of themselves. My purpose is not to tell you what to think and do, but to perhaps think of those things in a different way with a different mindset.

Plus, I’ve got a heck of a lot of cool tools to keep you safe when training and provide you with the right amounts of information at the right times to change your body like you want.
