Betsy is a terrific coach. The tips she gave me on virtually every kettlebell movement were instrumental in enabling me to get over the plateaus I'd reached by relying on my instincts and (in retrospect) truly awful form. She has a deep understanding of the SFG principles and is able to personalize those to what I need as a client. She was even able to coach me very effectively through a Zoom meeting. I am planning on pursuing my SFG 1 this summer and would never have been able to feel ready for that challenge without Betsy's help.

Betsy is an amazing teacher! Excellent and thoughtful training programs, kind and compassionate support, and a wealth of knowledge. I am so lucky to have found her!

Betsy has been instrumental in prepping me for the upcoming SFG Level 1 certification. Prior to showing up, I had worked with kettlebells for years, but my form had not be thoroughly evaluated to address any possible mechanical fixes needing to be addressed. So far, few months after first being evaluated, my form has progressed immensely and I feel very confident going into SFG Level 1 on all fundamental movements--squat, snatch, clean and press, Turkish Get up. Once I've earned my first certification, I will most definitely be returning to Betsy for additional assistance on more advanced kettlebell exercises. Unlike previous trainers, she was able to pick apart fixes in my form that needed to happen and any strength/compensation problems. Look forward to working with her in the future. She's worth the money you pay her.

A huge thank you and shout out to Betsy Middleton Collie , Rapid Results Fitness and StrongFirst, Betsy is an awesome trainer and teacher who is down to earth, and a very common sense approach… I highly recommend seeking her out if you’re interested in Fitness, Kettlebell training, mobility etc. She taught a lifetime of knowledge during our session. You will not only learn technique but also how to make your body work as a unit, stretching, etc. She has an awesome personality to go with all the knowledge as well. I will definitely be going back to her in the future

Betsy is an experienced, patient, confident, competent and thorough instructor.

She prepared me for both my Level 1 and 2 kettlebell certifications and is constantly available with firm and compassionate coaching.

Her experience is obvious as she coaches - she has a keen eye and so many helpful drills in her toolbelt.

She is relentless in the pursuit of your success. She is not phased by a students' struggles and she makes learning technique fun.

Whether you're preparing for your Level 2 kettlebell certification, deciding to use kettlebells for fat loss, or recovering from surgery, you can trust Betsy Collie to take care of your health and your goals.

I cannot thank her enough for how she has trained me.

Betsy was not only an amazing team leader during my SFG 1 certification, she continued her coaching from a distance to help me achieve my certification! She provided cuing and drills that I was immediately able to incorporate into my training in order to improve my skills. Her programming is motivating, diverse, challenging, and fun! I look forward to each workout! I have not only seen significant improvements in my strength and skill development after just the first 4 week program but my running times have also significantly improved! Despite being across the country with 3 hours time difference, Betsy has been available to answer any questions I have had and to review technique via video. I highly recommend Betsy for kettlebell coaching and programming!

I have been kettlebell training with Betsy for 8 years. I had never lifted weights, but was trying to stave off osteoporosis and heard that weight bearing exercise was helpful. Kettlebell training with Betsy has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself! The training has made me so much stronger and has helped prevent injury in my other form of exercise - running. Having a strong core has enabled me to run injury free for years. I'm in the best shape of my life in my 50s and I owe a lot of that to Betsy. She focuses on making sure your form is correct so that you can get the most out of KB training and remain injury free. Her enthusiasm for kettlebell training is evident. She has a passion for what she does and wants her clients to understand the rationale behind her training. I was very apprehensive about starting a weight training program in my 40s, but Betsy made me feel that I could do it. She also helped me understand the positive impact the KB training would have on other areas of my life. I am so glad I took the chance on KB training and I would highly recommend Betsy as a knowledgeable, passionate, and encouraging instructor.

I met Betsy four years ago at her gym Rapid Results Fitness. During the year I was a member of RRF my kettlebell skills improved immensely thanks to her fantastic instruction and I got into the best shape of my life.

In 2018 I decided to pursue the SFG I certification. Even though I had relocated from Durham, Betsy agreed to assist me in preparing. I would not have passed the cert if not for her invaluable insight and instruction. Her passion, knowledge and recommendations kept me focused, motivated and improving. I'm so grateful for all of the assistance she provided. If you have the chance to work with Betsy privately, at her gym, RRF or through an StrongFirst seminar - I highly recommend it!

I first met Betsy at the 8 hr. KB class she held at RRF. I had been " messing around " with kettlebells for some time, and felt it was time to learn how use them correctly. That class was great. I was so impressed with Betsy's understanding, kindness, and ability ,that I signed up for an SFG weekend.
I had a great experience at the weekend, however, I didn't complete the snatch test. Enter Betsy once again. I reached out to her, and she got back to me right away, and in a few short weeks, I was able to pass the snatch test.
Betsy's support, attention to detail, and professionalism is second to none! She truly takes the time to help and teach in a completely organic way. THANKS BETSY!!

I had the pleasure of being part of the SFG course instructed by Betsy at Lisle, IL. I have been exercising with KBs on & off from 2008, though I have become more active for the last 2 years. I follow most of the content from Pavel regularly and have started using the "Simple & Sinister" program (which I love). But, when I came across this class I was sure I will be learning quite a few things that I am missing in my workouts and correctly so, it was a great learning experience. Betsy's attention to details, her knowledge, passion and humor were amazing. She had the same energy until the last minute of the class as in the morning in our 8-hour day.Unbelievable!
She was patient & kind to hear all our questions, feedback and provided very useful tips according to our needs.
I highly recommend her class!

I came to kbs, RRF and to Betsy as an endurance athlete looking for strength training to compliment my running schedule and training. In the past, I had experienced injuries attributed to a weak core, and a fellow triathlete had recommended Betsy and kbs as a great core workout. Although the gym recommends a plan of kbs two to three times a week, I only attended once a week as a cross-training day. Even with that limited practice, I could tell a difference in my running pretty quickly. I also made it through a marathon training cycle injury free and with a shiny new PR that I attribute in part to kb training.

At RRF and with Betsy, the focus is always on proper form. One of the things that I really love about Betsy as a trainer is her dedication to educating those in her class about why form is so important, and how these exercises are benefiting us. I feel that I leave class with a great workout, but also with a better view as to how to exercise!

Seriously, I am a huge fan, and I have been trying to spread the word to my other endurance friends. Thanks!!

Betsy is the real deal. She possesses all the skill and experience that every student could want from an instructor. Always positive, knowledgeable, approachable and above all, patient. The classes are fun and nurture a sense of community that is motivating. She's always manages to find what the student is doing right while still correcting errors. I strongly recommend Betsy Collie. I've had a great time learning from her for the last couple of years.!

Betsy is an incredible kettle bell instructor! She is passionate about helping everyone learn the benefits of kettle bell training with proper form. She is detailed and thorough to make sure you understand how to train yourself and your clients.

I became a client of Betsy Collie shortly after she opened Rapid Results Fitness. As a sports chiropractor who has worked with elite and Olympic athletes, and as an international instructor in sports injury treatment, I have pretty high standards. Betsy exceeds these standards. One of the things I really appreciate is her attention to proper form. Not only does this lessen the odds of injury, it also helps you get the most from each exercise. Additionally her incorporation of Z-health and mobility exercises drawn from Gray Cook's work are a perfect addition to the kettlebell work. Lastly her regular email blasts are not only motivational but full of sound nutritional advice. While the fitness field is full of trainers whose quality can vary widely, Betsy stands out as a true super star and I recommend her without reservation. Dr. Michael Krasnov.

I have been training with Betsy for five years. Her incredible knowledge and skill when it comes to building healthy, strong bodies is further supported by a generous teaching style that encourages clients to realize their full potential. I am up for re-certification this year, and I find that under Betsy's supervision I continue to refine my skills and expand my awareness of how my body moves. As a runner and open water swimmer, I find that her class designs provide excellent cross-training benefits, and total body strengthening. She is a great instructor, and has assembled a great team at Rapid Results Fitness.

Betsy's kettle bell class is the best exercise class I've ever taken. The varied workout keeps it new and interesting. And, Betsy's focus on safety and overall health (including a strong nutritional focus) round out the program to give me exactly what I've been looking for.

I've been going to Rapid Results Fitness for more than three years, and I can honestly say it is the best exercise class I've ever attended. Betsy teaches to the individual, while managing to keep an entire class of students at different levels very engaged. The routines vary every time; there is always something new to learn. Betsy is always patient, but will never let us get away with "poor form", especially from a safety perspective. I'm almost 50 years old, and I have never been fitter in my life. I love kettlebells, and look forward to every session.

Coach Collie possesses the grace and skill that every student could want from an instructor. Always positive, knowledgeable, approachable and above all, patient. She truly wants her students to own what they learn from her. Her ability to manage a group of varied abilities, while still making sure each individual feels noticed and attended to, is exceptional. She's always manages to find what the student is doing right while still correcting errors. I strongly recommend Betsy Collie. I've had a great time learning from her!
