Ryan ToshnerAs the owner and head strength coach at TNT Performance, Ryan and his staff work with individuals whose goals include losing weight and improving health, developing strength, improving athletic performance, and simply learning to use kettlebells properly.
Due to his background and current endeavors in athletics (baseball, collegiate wrestling, rock climbing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), Ryan believes that strength training -- using barbells, kettlebells, and body weight -- is simply a means to an end… While this training should be challenging yet enjoyable, the main reason for training is to be able to actively participate in other physical activities.
Accordingly, he regularly encourages his clients -- especially those whose goals include losing weight -- to participate in activities like hiking, biking, swimming, climbing, gardening, playing with kids & grandkids, and various individual or team sports and adventure races outside of the gym.
