Hi again!

Another Reload question folks. The weekly jump for my BP comes at 3.6 kgs (3% of 120). The ramp up baseline is at 85 kgs, rounding up from 84 kgs. How do I increase the weekly jumps? The gym has 1.25 kgs increments and I can also purchase 1 kgs increments if helpful, but I think thats getting too bogged down.

Pick either your goal 5x5 and work backwards or your starting 5x5 and work forwards, using plate math that makes sense. If the % change is not available with your plate math, round up or down depending on the closest weight interval.

I've always rounded after the calculation which results in an odd jump occasionally. For example;

Baseline 84.0 kg => 85 kg
84.0 + 3.6 = 87.6 => 87.5 kg
87.6 + 3.6 = 91.2 => 90.0 kg
91.2 + 3.6 = 94.6 => 95.0 kg
94.6 + 3.6 = 98.2 => 97.5 kg
98.2 + 3.6 = 101.8 => 102.5 kg
101.8 + 3.6 = 105.4 => 105.0 kg

In this case the 5 kg step is at the switch from 5x5 so may be less noticeable.
I can see the benefits of a constant increment but it's just not the way I've done it.

Edit:
Just reread the document and it says to count back from the target week 5 in increments of the weekly jump. So my spreadsheet approach above is incorrect.
Also the "baseline" relates to the Fabio 5RM test. Not the resulting programme.
