Hello All, I've had a bit of bad luck lately, developed an allergy to nickel all of a sudden, broke out in a terrible rashes as a result of the nickel plated clip on my work ID and having my keys in my pocket all the time, which in turn became a life-threatening staph infection that landed me in the hospital for a while getting IV's of antibiotics and other things.  If that didn't take enough of a toll on my health, I was on a chair reaching for some things, slipped and broke a rib.  My health is in terrible condition as a result of the illness, the cure, and the rib.  I gained weight, I'm out of breath walking up my stairs to my apartment, I'm in bad shape now, and I'm itching to get back to clean and jerks with my double 32's…but I have enough sense to know I need to begin at the beginning again, I won't be cleared to lift anything of consequence for about 5 more weeks when my rib is healed up.  I'll be smart and start swinging light and working on the Becoming Bulletproof exercises, and work up from there, my question is for those that have had broken ribs or movement specialists in general,  Should I expect any sort of decrease in movement or flexibility when the rib (lowest rib left side) is healed and I start moving around again, and what part of the body would be effected?  Would that cause me to lose spinal flexibility if the crack is in front?  I'm just curious as to what to expect when I can finally start moving a lot again.  Thanks.
