Old Forum Can Double Ketttlebells Replace Deadlifts in this program?

Hi so I'm currently doing Rite of Passage for the second time with the 16kg (I completed it with 20kg but went back a bell because I was unhappy with my form on the press) after January I plan on doing a Bodyweight program with emphasis on building a bit of muscle. In this program it recommends doing The Green Ghost program (basically the bear from PTTP) twice a week and bodyweight on the other three days.

I would like to substitute "the one program" with double swings instead of the Deadlifts. My question is would this have the same effects as the density dead lifts and help to build muscle?

(P.S I also plan on doing various Loaded Carries on my Swing/Deadlift Day)
 
Hello Daniel Owens,

Nothing will have the same effect as deadlifts. You might build muscle anyway but the deadlift is a whole other animal.
