This post is about an employment opportunity for my start-up company, named REBAR.  I am an experienced fitness professional looking to work alongside another top-notch colleague who has put his/her time in the industry and is looking to participate in growing something exceptional.

Basic Info:

REBAR is an exclusive personal training facility located in the beautiful, health conscious community of Westport, CT.  This extraordinary, one of a kind facility is designed by award winning architect Roger Ferris and contains only the best professional grade equipment (think Power-Lift, Black Iron Strength).   Offering full service, highly result-oriented fitness coaching and program design, REBAR is led by Danny Clark, an experienced strength and conditioning professional, world medalist athlete, and SFG “Beast Tamer.”

As a start-up company with a unique business plan to execute, REBAR is looking to add a senior level fitness professional to our team to service a growing number of clients.

Qualifications:

REBAR is seeking an experienced fitness professional with a proven track record in sales, client assessment, client progression (fitness and body composition), and strength/conditioning program design.  A successful applicant will be driven, detail-oriented, have a “can do” team-oriented attitude, thinks “outside the box,” leads by example, and possesses truly exceptional customer service skills.

 

Required:

Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited university
StrongFirst certification (SFG minimum) or RKC (prior to 2014)
Personal Trainer certification with minimum 3 years experience

 

Desirable, but not required:

CSCS or USAW
FMS
Advanced certification and/or academic work in the areas of exercise science and/or human nutrition
High level of athletic achievement
