It is what it is.  In all honesty I think with a better rep structure (i.e. one more conducive to staving off fatigue build up, say sets of 5) i could get 100 reps with 32kg without putting it down.  We'll see.

Paul, nice. I recently did the full ETK ROP with 28kg and hit 150 (75/75) without putting it down. If you are looking for a rep scheme to get you there I highly recommend ladders. I am reasonably certain you're stronger than me but using this scheme I was able to put up a lot of reps ... highly recommend.
 
To be clear, that's:

1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5     x     5    =     150

Ladders make life easier ... they feel like cheating.

Here is GS great, Valery Federenko, showing some amazing OH work capacity and strength.  All through GS style training.   If your goal is to really push the envelope on this stuff then that is where I would be looking.

J Dunn, I've seen Britt before on dragondoor, we debated a few points here and there but one things for Britt put up some serious numbers overhead!  I seem to remember 100 reps non stop presses with a 40kg bell!  He told me he done this in sets of 5 and that they were in a style similar to VF, which although amazing, it has to be said, is actually a subtle form of push press TBH.

Mark, I can honestly say I've never been compared to Bono, but I like where your heads at LOL!  Thank you for your kind words with regards my work, it means a lot to hear that.
 
The video I posted of VF was a push press.  But his actual press videos are just that, presses.  There is some body english to the side, much like your own only slightly less pronounced.  One might venture to say that it is less a military press, which implies the rigid torso and legs, and more just a standard press.  Yours might be venturing into the side press range with the amount of bend you put into it.  But back to the push press, his legs are not accelerating the bell up so it is a press by any definition.

I've studied VF's presses a bit in the past. I think they are what they used to call the "tempo press" in the old GS language (Pavel can perhaps confirm). They aren't strict military presses because the torso twist is used to generate some initial momentum. Still a good exercise though and 20 reps with 48kg is pretty amazing.
 
J Dunn, I think VF is incredible!  I'm a big fan of him as an athlete.  I've actually had several conversations with him online in the past and we've had a lot of good thing to say about the other, in short I think he's one of the greatest GS lifters of all time and I LOVE his videos!

All that being said,  when it comes to the press, if you look at the above video you'll see, on every single rep, some more pronounced than others, the knee opposite to the pressing arm definitely bends a tad prior to every press and straightens out as he presses.  He is getting SOME leg into the start to initiate the press, which is significant.

I'm 10-15kg lighter than Valery and when I pressed the 60kg barbell here it was 80% of my body weight and seven feet in length, if i hadnt have positioned myself under the middle of it by leaning I would've toppled over to one side due to physics, plus . . .  well yes, you can lift more weight that way, but my arm doesnt lockout whilst my body is still bent (like the capital letter L) instead, my body straightens with my arm, so its not a pure side press by any means. But there was ZERO knee kick.

But this is NOT meant as a put down of VF!  Some of the things he's done are without equal on the face of this planet!!!!
