I have a friend and co-worker who is recovering from Necrotizing Fasciitis, which unfortunately resulted in him having his right hand amputated just above the wrist.  H is recovering now and learning how to live his extremely active lifestyle with only one hand.  He really likes kettlebell/sandbag lifting and I would like to help him continue, once he's recovered physically.  Has anyone here worked with someone with a hand amputation?  What should I be doing to work without the use of that hand?  He's a very healthy and strong guy and I would like to help keep him that way.  Thanks!

I don't have any personal experience here.  But Eric Kenyon comes to mind.  He posts on here about working with a snowboarder for the para-olympics.  I don't believe that athlete is missing a hand/arm, but perhaps Eric has other experiences.  He seems super nice and knowledgeable from his posts.

Good luck.
