Old Forum Pull-up Hang in S&S

In the book, Pavel recommends hanging from a pull-up bar after training. I was just wondering if this entails relaxing in a fully stretched position, or if the shoulders should remain "active" throughout.
 
I go through both. Relaxed. Active. I swing a bit from side to side and twist a bit. I put my knees to my chest. etc etc :) See what feels good for you!
