Old Forum S&S with double swings?

Newbie question here.

I'm doing S&S. At home, I have a 24kg kettlebell, which is about right (for now). But I also work out at my gym sometimes, and the kettlebells there max out at 40lbs. (I'm mixing S&S with a bit of barbell lifting, so so I can't only train at home.)

What should I do when at the gym? Any reason I shouldn't just swing two 12kg kettlebells?

If not, what should I do instead? More swings, or faster, with a 40lb kettlebell? And if I did that, how would I progress as I get stronger?
