Hi Friends,

At the moment i am training for my SFG level 1 I was wondering i am 60 kg.. Do i need to work with 20 kg kettlebells or 24 KG kettlebell... Thank you in advance...

Greetings

The rules state that lower weight class is is "up to" 60kg, and the higher weight class is "over" 60kg. So exactly 60kg would fall within the lower weight class.

However, IMO, if you are on the borderline between weight classes, it would be wise to be able to handle the requirements for the heavier weight class.

IMO better over prepare and practice some of your skills with the 24. I was 60kg at my RKC but preparing with the 24 made things easier..

Let us know if you need any help :)

Your heaviest bell is always your heaviest bell. Training with double 24's and 28's helped a ton in getting ready for my cert weekend.

Have you ever passed a snatch test with a 20kg?
