Kettlebell Squat / Swing ratio

Previously the issue of the sissy squat came up. I would like to ask about the specific version which is performed on an apparatus/bench/machine. This sort of apparatus. sissy squat - Bing video On the video the person seems to be doing them a little sloppily, I peronally will go deep, stand at the top, take a breath etc. The late Doug Brignole was keen on them. I think loading them with kettlebells is very doable.

I have seen a lot the Squat:Swing ratio of 1:5. 1 squat - 5 swings. Where does that come from?
Also what is the reasonable goal for goblet squats with the kettlebell?
Going back to the first post in this thread, two points, please:

1. The ratio - I've never seen or heard of that and don't know why we need a ratio. One does for each movement what one does for each movement and that's that, IMO.

2. I wrote this a while back which, if I may be so immodest, I think you'll benefit from reading.
