Training for military

I guess the best option is to train for what is incoming, I mean some kind of test you'll have to pass. If there is running, than practice running. If there are Pull-ups, than do Pull-ups. It all depends on what you'll have to do first to get to the unit.

Probably Novocain type training. I personally would go with one of the TSC programs supplemented with LISS work a couple days a week. As @mikhael stated it depends on what benchmarks are going to be required. I was in the Navy and started as a SAR Swimmer, so I swam 2-3 days a week, even decades after SAR School. I still swim 1-2 days a week as I feel that it's a perishable skill.
