I am no longer away from home working and would like to add a deadlift day back into my training week. I am still enjoying my S&S training during the week, but would like to pull also. I can't remember where i read it, but isn't there some research as to which day we are supposedly strongest or something? Or is there a day which would suit the deadlift to be performed?

It varies from person to person and you get good at what you do.
So those who always train in the morning are good at training in the morning. Those who _never_ train in the morning are pretty (excuse my choice in words) useless in lifting things in the morning.

But then there are research (statistics) showing that people are generally stronger in the afternoon at 15-17oo if I remember correctly. This is true on me, but that might be cause I have always trained at this time of the day.
